Weekend Dad is a comedy drama about the super intelligent boy Sune who, against his will, is forced to go on a survival trip to the Swedish woods with his weekend dad. The father and son lose sight of each other on a trip that was supposed to bring them together. The fact that Sune has taken his best friend Hans with him does not help. They accidentally bump into Sweden’s most wanted bank robber Hasse, who is hiding in the same woods. For Sune, Torben and Hans the trip becomes one of finding each other again, and one of survival.
